Full Description: Wayne MacPhee was an undrafted rough and tumble blueliner who spent 4 junior seasons in the OHL with the North Bay Centennials playing alongside old school tough guys like Kevin Kerr and Nick Kypreos.
The jersey shows nice wear with many repairs, including some re-inforced repairs up near the size tag. The jersey is a size XL and has a narrow snap and velcro fight strap. The red and black numbers are all sewn on.
The crest is a sewn-on twill patch with the train logo screened on. The is evidence of some blood staining on the smoke just above the engine.
The name is also screened to an Ice Sheen nameplate that is sewn on. The back hem features a HiLi manufacturers patch sewn on the right side.

Full Description: Jessiman wore this jersey in three home games at the start of the 2008-09 season prior to being traded to the Nashville Predators on October 30, 2008 for a bag of rocks.
Unfairly labeled as one of the worst draft picks in NHL history, Jessiman was more a victim of outrageously unrealistic New York media hype than anything else when he fell out of favor and became expendable after a decent season in the AHL where he'd finally been able to settle into a role.
Great guy off the ice who deserved a better fate with his hometown team.
Jersey was won in the May 2012 GameWornAuctions.net auction.
Photomatched.

John Jakopin 2003-2004 Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) Road Jersey |
5 |
Brand: SP |
Material: AirKnit/Mesh |
Size: 58 |
Draft Information: Detroit Red Wings Round 4 #97 Overall 1993 NHL Entry Draft
|
Added to Collection: 2014-02-10
Previous Owners: Meigray Group
|
Full Description: Set 1. Name sewn on to a airknit nameplate. Mesh underarms. Heavy wear with stick marks everywhere, board burns, holes, and repairs all over the sleeves. Fight strap has been shortened.
John Jakopin was Fedor Tyutin's defensive partner during the 2003-04 season and molded Tyutin from a very green rookie into an NHL mainstay.
No surprise that Jakopin was loaned to Binghamton at the same time Tyutin was called up.

Full Description: Nameplate sewn on. Numbers sewn on. Name in Russian. This was the first season when the Red Army/CSKA and legendary Soviet and CSKA head coach Viktor Tikhonov split up, with this jersey belonging to Viktor Tikhonov's newly established HC CSKA. Notice the penguin logo features the XK letters, which signify Hockey Club in Russian. All the jerseys prior to this season did not have the XK letters. As with most Russian jerseys, this one stunk so bad, I had to wash it.
