Name is Chris and I’ve been collecting hockey jerseys since 1995.

My first jersey (with a name and number) was a Brendan Shanahan Whalers replica made by Starter.

While planning the purchase of another named and numbered jersey in 1997 I stumbled across the “real” thing… I was hooked.

Since then, my gameworn collection has grown, then shrunk when I bought a house, and now I try my best to stay focused (and on budget) collecting only Hartford Whalers and Hartford Wolf Pack jerseys — and players that have played for either team.

I’ve used the moniker CalderCup2000  since June of 2000 in the collecting hobby, as well as on other hockey related message boards and even eBay.   My adopted “home” team and long time client, the Hartford Wolf Pack, won the AHL’s Calder Cup in 2000, which is where the name comes from.
