You can see the impression of a Ling nameplate as well as a longer name as well.
Ling was the last active player with ties to the Quebec Nordiques who drafted him in 1993. He was still playing pro hockey through the 2017-18 season.

A 12-game stint in the AHL with the Lock Monsters was the highest level of hockey that Blue Bennefield reached during his career.
A call-up direct from the UHL, Bennefield was brought in to, well, mix it up a bit on his way to racking up over 300 PIM that season but he also chipped in a couple goals and showed that he was not just a lower league goon.
