Set 2. Shows very light wear as Avery had two home jerseys made up for his 8 games with Hartford. This is the jersey he wore in 3 of his 4 home games including his widely covered debut on February 14, 2009. Hartford is where Avery ended up following his NHL suspension for his 'sloppy seconds' comment. Very light wear with a few light stick marks on the front and some light burns on the sleeves. Captain's C sewn on. Numbers, logos, sponsors are all sewn or embroidered on. Name is screened.
Decent wear. Received the jersey un-washed as it was covered with dried champagne stains (presumably from the post-game celebration) and what DTG would have accurately described as "general filth". And the smell? Well, you can imagine.
Purists may be horrified to hear that I've since washed the jersey. Sorry -- it would have started growing mold.

Gaulin played 22 games up with the Nordiques which were a difficult line-up to crack with three Stastny brothers, Michel Goulet, Wilf Paiement, and Dale Hunter making up the top six forwards.
The wear is tremendous and consists of many stick and slash marks, loads of board burns and paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, heavy inner pilling and team repair work pretty much throughout.
As with most Nordique related jerseys from this era, the screened on numbers have lost the battle against time.
