Full Description: Light wear as these alternates were only worn in three games. Alternate captain 'A' glue residue.
Story is, the league didn't like them as they were too similar in colour to the opponent's road white to wear at home. They then wore them on the road with the opposite result -- too similar to the opponent's home dark.
Grey Alternate style only used for 2 seasons. The 2003-04 season had blue numbers. Tie-down collar. Mesh underarms that are slightly pink.
This set were given away in a 'Shirts off our Backs' promotion.

Full Description: Based on the combo of the Wilson tagging and the less common non-arched font variation, this is from the 1983 season.
Truth be told -- no clue who wore this jersey. Old programs didn't have numbers listed on them and I was too young to be filling out score sheets with my Cub Scout pack going to these games. I'm going with Dave Malpeso...cause I thought his name was cool back then when I was in second grade.
Could it have been Roger Clemens? I won't make that claim. As with minor league baseball today, teams rarely assign permanent numbers, or even positions, to players as there is so much roster movement.
Purchased in the Grey Flannel 2023 Summer Games Auction...for nostalgic reasons.
