Full Description: Inaugural season patch sewn on. Dov saved the season in Hartford as a late season addition to shore up a depleted and young goaltending tandems as a solid veteran presence not once, but twice. Journeyman goaltender... and a real good one.
Such a classy player off the ice too -- went out of his way to say hello and remembered my children's names as we crossed paths over two years after he last played in Hartford.

|
Full Description: Pretty clean as these alternates were only worn in three games. State dressed for one of them and fought Ryan Flinn.
Story is, the league didn't like them as they were too similar in colour to the opponent's road white to wear at home. They then wore them on the road with the opposite result -- too similar to the opponent's home dark.
Grey Alternate style only used for 2 seasons. The 2003-04 season had blue numbers. Tie-down collar. Mesh underarms that are slightly pink.
This set were given away in a 'Shirts off our Backs' promotion.

Full Description: Light wear with just a few marks on the sleeves. Canadiens COA -- not that that's worth anything as they issue them for GI's decades after the fact. This is likely a GI for the playoffs...which the Canadiens failed to make. Either way, Montreal keeps their whites looking pristine.
Lachance was traded to the Canadiens a couple weeks before the trade deadline on March 9, 1999 and played 17 games for the Habs that season.
Connecticut can lay claim to Brian Leetch, Craig Janney, Max Pacioretty, Chris Drury, Cam Atkinson, Ron Hainsey, Nick Bonino, Colin Wilson, and Jonathan Quick. Even Jeremy Roenick would be under the umbrella of a Connecticut raised player.
And, sure, there are a number of first round picks from Connecticut...but the earliest pick still belongs to Scott Lachance -- drafted 4th overall in 1991 by the NY Islanders.

Hartford Connection: None.
