Nameplate sewn on. Numbers sewn on. Name in Russian. This was the first season when the Red Army/CSKA and legendary Soviet and CSKA head coach Viktor Tikhonov split up, with this jersey belonging to Viktor Tikhonov's newly established HC CSKA. Notice the penguin logo features the XK letters, which signify Hockey Club in Russian. All the jerseys prior to this season did not have the XK letters. As with most Russian jerseys, this one stunk so bad, I had to wash it.

Set 1. Lighter wear. The roads hardly show any wear at all. Some board burns on the sleeves and some small un-repaired holes. This is the only set they wore with red numbers -- Set 2 from this season has a different style and featured white numbers.

Four time FPHL Defenseman of the Year. Top ten all time in points...and averaged over a point per game as a defenseman.
Sleeve numbers are sublimated, back numbers are sewn, as is the nameplate. Shoulder and front crest are embroidered.
Lighter wear with just a few marks...but Powell is one of the most efficient players I've ever seen on defense. Seemingly does almost nothing...but always putting up points. That's high praise.
