Lower hem on one side is littered with repairs to hold it all together. Some might claim extreme game wear but having been around a locker room, I'll tell you that it's more likely a case of getting caught in the dryer door.
Oh, and sorry folks, all those blood stains you claim to see, yeah, that's not blood. It's called rust. And, again, usually from the dryer. That's right, it's laundry wear.
Aside from that, the jersey does exhibit some nice game wear and repairs on both sleeves and the front hem.

Light wear with a few stick marks here and there. Captain 'C' sewn on. Plate with Wolf Pack screened on sewn over Rangers. This set was made up of Ranger jerseys from 2002 and 2003 pre-seasons. Ryan Hollweg wore the jersey in 2002. Nycholat wore it for the 2003 and 2004 training camps. Pre-season.

Jessiman wore this jersey in three home games at the start of the 2008-09 season prior to being traded to the Nashville Predators on October 30, 2008 for a bag of rocks.
Unfairly labeled as one of the worst draft picks in NHL history, Jessiman was more a victim of outrageously unrealistic New York media hype than anything else when he fell out of favor and became expendable after a decent season in the AHL where he'd finally been able to settle into a role.
Great guy off the ice who deserved a better fate with his hometown team.
Jersey was won in the May 2012 GameWornAuctions.net auction.

One of the more difficult HWP alternates to acquire in the hobby as this set was given away in a 'Shirts off our Backs' promotion.
Ortmeyer stuck with the New York Rangers for the duration of the 2005-2006 season so this jersey is Game Issued.
