Full Description: Captain's C sewn on. Numbers, logos, sponsors are all sewn or embroidered on. Name is screened.
Decent wear. Received the jersey un-washed as it was covered with dried champagne stains (presumably from the post-game celebration) and what DTG would have accurately described as "general filth". And the smell? Well, you can imagine.
Purists may be horrified to hear that I've since washed the jersey. Sorry -- it would have started growing mold.
Photomatched to FHL Championship clinching game.

Full Description: In August of 1997, the front office staffs of the Hartford Wolf Pack and Beast of New Haven (both new teams for the 97-98 season) held a softball game to drum up fan interest.
At that time of the year, the front offices were not fully staffed for either team -- frankly, I don't recall ever seeing some of the folks that played on either team ever again -- and I'm not sure the event was much of a fanfest. Maybe 10 people in attendance.
One of the raffle prizes was a game jersey -- which I won. Odd that a Hartford employee would win a New Haven jersey but it is what it is. I received this jersey from the PR guy of the Beast prior to their first game in Hartford.
Hilariously, the Beast still did not have all of their uniforms from Bauer yet (they started the season wearing white practice jerseys for the first 7 games. The Wolf Pack, suffering the same issue, hastily had a set of jerseys made up by AthleticKnit that they wore in their Inaugural game.
So, yes, I had a full sewn game jersey in my hands before the actual team took the ice in full uniform.
Features the PHPA patch sewn to the hem but shows, obviously, zero wear.

Material: Knit |
Size: |
Draft Information: Not drafted.
|
Added to Collection: 1999-03-26
Previous Owners: Jonathan Kaminski
|
Full Description: Heavy wear. Back of neck heavily repaired -- evidence of at least 2 name plate changes and both were sloppy hack and slash operations.
Based on the two colour numbers, this jersey was used between 1992 and 1995. With all of the name changes and heavy wear, it was probably worn all three seasons too.

Jeff State 2003-2004 Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) Alternate Jersey |
42 |
Brand: SP |
Material: AirKnit |
Size: 58 |
Draft Information: Not drafted.
|
Added to Collection: 2014-10-16
Previous Owners: Michael Foiles
|
Full Description: Pretty clean as these alternates were only worn in three games. State dressed for one of them and fought Ryan Flinn.
Story is, the league didn't like them as they were too similar in colour to the opponent's road white to wear at home. They then wore them on the road with the opposite result -- too similar to the opponent's home dark.
Grey Alternate style only used for 2 seasons. The 2003-04 season had blue numbers. Tie-down collar. Mesh underarms that are slightly pink.
This set were given away in a 'Shirts off our Backs' promotion.

Bob Errey 1998-1999 Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) Road Jersey |
22 |
Brand: Bauer |
Material: AirKnit |
Size: 52 |
Draft Information: Pittsburgh Penguins Round 1 #15 Overall 1983 NHL Entry Draft
|
Added to Collection: 2014-10-12
Previous Owners: Kristin Dowler, Jim Yackel, Meigray Group
|
Full Description: Heavy wear throughout.
Name is sewn to a nameplate which was unusual for the 98-99 season. Also, the top layer of the first 2 on the back isn't sewn down.
Reason being, Errey was expected to make the Rangers so a jersey was not prepared for him prior to the start of the AHL season -- it's a hack job.
Errey retired at the conclusion of the season.
