A 12-game stint in the AHL with the Lock Monsters was the highest level of hockey that Blue Bennefield reached during his career.
A call-up direct from the UHL, Bennefield was brought in to, well, mix it up a bit on his way to racking up over 300 PIM that season but he also chipped in a couple goals and showed that he was not just a lower league goon.

Light wear as these alternates were only worn in three games. Alternate captain 'A' glue residue.
Story is, the league didn't like them as they were too similar in colour to the opponent's road white to wear at home. They then wore them on the road with the opposite result -- too similar to the opponent's home dark.
Grey Alternate style only used for 2 seasons. The 2003-04 season had blue numbers. Tie-down collar. Mesh underarms that are slightly pink.
This set were given away in a 'Shirts off our Backs' promotion.

Wayne MacPhee was an undrafted rough and tumble blueliner who spent 4 junior seasons in the OHL with the North Bay Centennials playing alongside old school tough guys like Kevin Kerr and Nick Kypreos.
The jersey shows nice wear with many repairs, including some re-inforced repairs up near the size tag. The jersey is a size XL and has a narrow snap and velcro fight strap. The red and black numbers are all sewn on.
The crest is a sewn-on twill patch with the train logo screened on. The is evidence of some blood staining on the smoke just above the engine.
The name is also screened to an Ice Sheen nameplate that is sewn on. The back hem features a HiLi manufacturers patch sewn on the right side.
