Assistant captain A sewn on under Hartford Insurance sponsor patch. Left side of the nameplate shows some removed stitching from where a 'J.' was added when Mike Taylor joined the team briefly at the tail end of the 2007-2008 season.

Set 2. Shows very light wear as Avery had two home jerseys made up for his 8 games with Hartford. This is the jersey he wore in 3 of his 4 home games including his widely covered debut on February 14, 2009. Hartford is where Avery ended up following his NHL suspension for his 'sloppy seconds' comment. Very light wear with a few light stick marks on the front and some light burns on the sleeves. Set 1 White Liberty alternate with the three color names that were worn for 3 games.
Custom shortened fight strap sewn up with embroidery thread just like my 97-98 Stock jerseys in my collection. Very light wear with some light burns on each of the sleeves.
Stock wore this on October 27, 1998 against the Buffalo Sabres.
