My favorite AHL All Star style of jersey. Would love to add a #77 Derek Armstrong or #9 Bob Wren from the same game.

Full Description: Set 1. Nice wear.
Mehalko switched to number 19 for the second half of the season -- a jersey which is also in my collection. Together, they're a great example of how the patches during the 01-02 season were placed in different places with each set.

Full Description: Inaugural season jersey with tons of wear. PHPA patch sewn to hem.
Halfnight went on to be MUCH more successful after hanging up the skates. Google him -- it's almost hard to believe it's the same guy but kudos to him for persuing the "right" career choice at an early age.

Hartford Connection: Drafted by the Hartford Whalers in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft which was held in Hartford, CT.

|
Full Description: Name sewn directly on. Very heavy mesh material. Size 50 is penned in on Maska fly tag but the jersey is huge and the sleeves are extremely wide like a goalie cut jersey.
CCM 'Born-On' tag reads 85 07.
Kay Whitmore didn't play a regular season game for the Whalers until the 1988-89 season.
Pre-season jersey perhaps recycled?
|
Hartford Connection: Hartford Whalers player from 1988-1992 and Hartford Wolf Pack player from 1998-1999.

Full Description: Evidence of multiple name plates. Heavy wear with marks, burns and paint transfer present, along with team repairs and pilling.
Based on the CCM pattern and length of the name plate stitching, likely last used in the 1986-87 season by Jean-Francois Dube.

Draft Information: Quebec Nordiques Round 3 #53 Overall 1981 NHL Entry Draft
|
Added to Collection: 2016-05-25
Previous Owners:
|
Full Description: Gaulin played 22 games up with the Nordiques which were a difficult line-up to crack with three Stastny brothers, Michel Goulet, Wilf Paiement, and Dale Hunter making up the top six forwards.
The wear is tremendous and consists of many stick and slash marks, loads of board burns and paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, heavy inner pilling and team repair work pretty much throughout.
As with most Nordique related jerseys from this era, the screened on numbers have lost the battle against time.
Purchased in the Spring 2016 GameWornAuctions.net auction.

Full Description: AHL 75th Anniversary patch sewn on rear hem.
Worn in last ever Hartford Wolf Pack home game (November 13, 2010) prior to re-branding as the Connecticut Whale.
This set is very difficult to find -- I've only encountered one other Wolf Pack jersey with the AHL 75th Anniversary patch on it. A little over a month into the 2010-2011 season, the Wolf Pack re-branded to the Connecticut Whale.

Hartford Connection: Hartford Wolf Pack and Connecticut Whale player from 2009-2011.
