Such a classy player off the ice too -- went out of his way to say hello and remembered my children's names as we crossed paths over two years after he last played in Hartford.

Jessiman wore this jersey in three home games at the start of the 2008-09 season prior to being traded to the Nashville Predators on October 30, 2008 for a bag of rocks.
Unfairly labeled as one of the worst draft picks in NHL history, Jessiman was more a victim of outrageously unrealistic New York media hype than anything else when he fell out of favor and became expendable after a decent season in the AHL where he'd finally been able to settle into a role.
Great guy off the ice who deserved a better fate with his hometown team.
Jersey was won in the May 2012 GameWornAuctions.net auction.
