You can see the impression of a Ling nameplate as well as a longer name as well.
Ling was the last active player with ties to the Quebec Nordiques who drafted him in 1993. He was still playing pro hockey through the 2017-18 season.

Shortened fight strap. This is the only set they wore with red numbers -- Set 2 from this season has a different style and featured white numbers.
