|
Full Description: Aliu played one game for the Barons (on loan from the Bakersfield Condors) at the tail end of the 2014-2015 season.
Poor guy got a rough start from the get-go in juniors standing up for himself and was never able to shake the reputation he was unfairly labelled with. Odd how in a game like hockey, you can get blackballed for standing up for yourself.
Had Aliu not ended up on a team with Steve Downie, you know, the guy now well known for his unnecessary aggressive behaviour and suspensions to prove it, Aliu would be a top-6 forward in the NHL.

Ken Sutton 1999 Canada AHL All Stars (AHL) Road Jersey |

Sutton represented the Albany River Rats. Chrysler and All Star Game patches sewn on. Signed on inside hem.
My favorite AHL All Star style of jersey. Would love to add a #77 Derek Armstrong or #9 Bob Wren from the same game.

|
Full Description: A 12-game stint in the AHL with the Lock Monsters was the highest level of hockey that Blue Bennefield reached during his career.
A call-up direct from the UHL, Bennefield was brought in to, well, mix it up a bit on his way to racking up over 300 PIM that season but he also chipped in a couple goals and showed that he was not just a lower league goon.

Hartford Connection: None.
