Very light wear.
Andrews was injured for one of the three games these jerseys were worn in.
Story is, the league didn't like them as they were too similar in colour to the opponent's road white to wear at home. They then wore them on the road with the opposite result -- too similar to the opponent's home dark.
Grey Alternate style only used for 2 seasons. The 2003-04 season had blue numbers. Tie-down collar. Mesh underarms that are slightly pink.
Acquired direct from team as a gift. Others from this set were given away in a 'Shirts off our Backs' promotion.

Set 2. Shows very light wear as Avery had two home jerseys made up for his 8 games with Hartford. This is the jersey he wore in 3 of his 4 home games including his widely covered debut on February 14, 2009. Hartford is where Avery ended up following his NHL suspension for his 'sloppy seconds' comment. Very light wear with a few light stick marks on the front and some light burns on the sleeves. Jessiman wore this jersey in three home games at the start of the 2008-09 season prior to being traded to the Nashville Predators on October 30, 2008 for a bag of rocks.
Unfairly labeled as one of the worst draft picks in NHL history, Jessiman was more a victim of outrageously unrealistic New York media hype than anything else when he fell out of favor and became expendable after a decent season in the AHL where he'd finally been able to settle into a role.
Great guy off the ice who deserved a better fate with his hometown team.
Jersey was won in the May 2012 GameWornAuctions.net auction.
