This is an inaugural season Giants jersey with name sewn directly on. Most Giants jerseys from the first season had generic block letter nameplates sewn over afterwards as the original lettering was difficult to read. Not this one.
Zaba was on Vancouver's PPL in 2001 but opted instead for the NCAA route so he never actually took the ice in a regular season game for the Giants.
Oddly, there is noticeable goaltender wear and post paint across the back numbers.
There is also a team LOA -- not that that's worth the paper it's printed on.

Jersey is from the 2003 pre-season with light wear -- a few burns on the elbows.
Often forgotten, Scott Young played 1322 games and had over 843 points at the NHL level putting him in the top 25 American-born scorers in pretty much all offensive categories. Not too shabby for a guy that played a pretty decent chunk of his career with perennial losers, the Hartford Whalers and Quebec Nordiques.
Best season came in 2000-01 with the St. Louis Blues when he tallied 40 goals and 33 assises for 73 points.

Very little wear, but there is one thick stick mark on the right sleeve. Alternate Twin Towers US Flag jersey. Shoulder patches feature the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center. Autographed on back number 4. Purchased from the team. Photomatched.
