This is an inaugural year Falcons jersey originally worn by Steven Yule and recycled to Thompson with evidence of a nameplate change.
First year Falcons jerseys only had CCM on the rear hem without an AHL patch next to it.

Pens also wore this set for 4 pre-season games but I'm not sure if Straka dressed for all of them.
Straka broke his leg on November 1, 2001. Returned February 27, 2002 and broke his orbital bone on his second shift. Returned Marth 7th...and broke the same leg again. 13 games played the entire season. Ouch.

Size tag removed but measures out to a 50. Captain's 'C' patch sewn on. Tippett was captain for the tail end of the season and the playoffs as Ron Francis was injured.
CCM hem pattern is white-white-white with blue lettering.
