This is an inaugural year Falcons jersey originally worn by Steven Yule and recycled to Thompson with evidence of a nameplate change.
First year Falcons jerseys only had CCM on the rear hem without an AHL patch next to it.

Size tag removed but measures out to a 50. Captain's 'C' patch sewn on. Tippett was captain for the tail end of the season and the playoffs as Ron Francis was injured.
CCM hem pattern is white-white-white with blue lettering.

Aliu played one game for the Barons (on loan from the Bakersfield Condors) at the tail end of the 2014-2015 season.
Poor guy got a rough start from the get-go in juniors standing up for himself and was never able to shake the reputation he was unfairly labelled with. Odd how in a game like hockey, you can get blackballed for standing up for yourself.
Had Aliu not ended up on a team with Steve Downie, you know, the guy now well known for his unnecessary aggressive behaviour and suspensions to prove it, Aliu would be a top-6 forward in the NHL.
